Ark Investment Management LLC, which is owned by Cathie Wood has increased its team. The investment management firm plans on expanding its research arm to pursue deeper development in various areas, including blockchain.

According to official documents, ARK Investment Management, owned by Cathy Wood, has promoted Brett Winton from chief futurist to four senior researchers and hired five research assistants.

“We believe that collectively, artificial Intelligence, robotics and energy storage will rise from less then 10% to over 60% by 2030. This represents the longest period in history of value-creation.”

ARK will also employ five research assistants to work on autonomous technology and robots, next generation internet, and venture capital.
